روش استفاده از انواع کاندیشنال را می دانید؟ به مثال های زیر توجه کنید.

کاندیشنال ها جملات شرطی هستند، یک بخش شرط جمله و بخش دوم نتیجه است.

| .You will pass your exams if you study hard |
| Conditional sentences are often divided into different types. |
از کاندیشنال نوع اول برای صحبت درباره ی حقایق و قانون ها استفاده می شود.

| .If I drink too much coffee, I can't sleep at night |
| .Ice melts if you heat it |
| When the sun goes down, it gets dark. |
از کاندیشنال نوع دوم برای صحبت درباره ی اتفاقات ممکن در آینده استفاده می شود.

| .If it doesn't rain tomorrow, we'll go to the beach |
| .Arsenal will be top of the league if they win |
| When I finish work, I'll call you. |
در کاندیشنال نوع دوم معمولا از قاعده ی if/when + present simple >> will + infinitive استفاده می شود. در این نوع استفاده از unless, as long as, as soon as or in case instead به جای of، متعارف تر است.

| You can go to the party, as long as you're back by midnight. |
از کاندیشنال نوع سوم برای صحبت درباره ی اتفاقات غیرممکن یا ناخوشایند در اینده اتفاده می شود.

| .If I won a lot of money, I'd buy a big house in the country |
| I wouldn't worry if I were you. |
در کاندیشنال نوع سوم معمولا از قاعده ی if + past simple >> + would + infinitive استفاده می شود. در این قاعده برای ضمایری که was میگرفتند از were استفاده می کنیم.
