از used to + infinitive برای بیان موقعیت هایی در گذشته استفاده می شود که در حال حاضر صحت ندارد. این موقعیت ها می تواند عادت ها یا اتفاقات تکراری در گذشته باشد که در حال حاضر تغییر کرده است.
