برای پذیرش دعوت دیگران می توان از عبارات زیر استفاده کرد:

رد کردن دعوت افراد مختلف در محیط کاری (turning down invitations)
خیلی سخت است که شما مستقیما به دعوت دیگران در محیط کاری نه بگویید و دلخوری بوجود نیاید. برای اینکه مودبانه درخواستی را رد کنید می توانید از عبارات زیر استفاده نمایید:
به این صورت که در ابتدا از شخص دعوت کننده تشکر کرده و بعد با گفتن کلمه اما دلیل اینکه نمی توانیددعوت را بپذیرید را بیان کرده و در آخر پیشنهاد دیگری ارائه می دهید.

Offer an Alternative
را ه حل دیگری پیشنهاد بدهید Give a Reason
دلیل بیاورید که چرا نمی توانید دعوت را قبول کنید Thank the person
در ابتدا تشکر کنید.

Perhaps we can do it next time/

I’m in town My flight is at 6 p.m. So I should probably stay in town just to make sure I get to the airport in time but That’s really kind of you
